Inside the first self-sustainable city on Mars - by ABIBOO studio
Construction of the city of Nüwa could start in 2054 and will see 250,000 people live inside the rock of a steep cliff. Freeze my body, melt me in 80 years, and send me to Mars. Architecture studio ABIBOO has revealed its plans to create the first self-sustainable city on the Red Planet, which is set to be ready for residents in 2100. The city will be called Nüwa and will be located at Tempe Mensa on one of the Martian cliffs. Its position inside a rock on the steep cliff will protect its residents from radiation and meteorites (cool!) while still giving them

2040: Embracing Diversity
I'd love to see a world where accepting differences is not just a buzzword but a lived reality. A future where diversity is celebrated, and people embrace various perspectives, cultures, and identities. Imagine a society where empathy and understanding replace prejudice, fostering a global community that values uniqueness.
Machinery life style
The future in 2040 will present a dynamic landscape where technology, changing family structures and cultural diversity shape social life. Navigating these shifts requires thoughtful consideration of ethical implications and a commitment to preserving meaningful human connections amid a rapidly evolving world.
No Future
I would like to see my country and the world doing better because if we'll continue like this, then there will be no 2040. We are destroying the environment, animals, air and this will all lead to our own destruction. We need to take measures or whatever future that I will write is not going to happen.
Capitialism on a deteriorating planet
In 20 years the world will be more inequal than today. We did not change the fundamentals of distribution in capitalism, and climate change reduced the availablity of resources and livable places. Cleaner technology has advanced substantially, but it mostly makes a difference for the wealthiest people in the world. Most people are worse off than today. There are more refugees, more global instability and more poverty and harsh conditions in the many megacities of the world. Natural disasters claim more lives than today.
Believe in myself , stay positive
In 2040, I would like to see a future where access to quality healthcare is universal and equitable for all individuals, regardless of their socio-economic status or geographical location.
In this future, advanced medical technologies, including personalized medicine and telehealth services, would be readily available to everyone, ensuring timely and effective treatment for all health concerns. Healthcare systems would prioritize preventive care and early intervention, leading to improved overall health outcomes and reduced healthcare costs in the long run.
Furthermore, there would be a greater emphasis on mental health awareness and support, with comprehensive mental health services integrated into primary care settings. Stigma surrounding mental health issues would be significantly reduced, encouraging more individuals to seek help when needed and promoting overall well-being.
Medical research and innovation would flourish, leading to breakthroughs in treating and curing previously incurable diseases. Access to essential medications and treatments would be affordable and accessible to all, eliminating disparities in healthcare access and outcomes.
Overall, this future would be characterized by a healthcare system that is compassionate, efficient, and responsive to the needs of all individuals, ensuring that everyone can live healthy and fulfilling lives.
Visiting European friends by train
I hope we will all work less. The 5-day workweek becomes an ancient concept of the last century. With a 3-day default workweek, I have time to visit my friends and family across Europe, by train. As the train network is increasingly developed and invested in, trains have become regular and affordable.
Quand les abeilles remplaceront le béton
2050,
The great re-initialization has taken place.
Europeans have reunited and succeeded in postponing the great migration to other continents.
The concrete of the suburbs' now-empty buildings is replaced by fields of flowers where bees come to forage.
Robots work tirelessly.
Robot cleaners, robot transporters, robot lullabies.
No one regrets the cursed times.
