Inside the first self-sustainable city on Mars - by ABIBOO studio
Construction of the city of Nüwa could start in 2054 and will see 250,000 people live inside the rock of a steep cliff. Freeze my body, melt me in 80 years, and send me to Mars. Architecture studio ABIBOO has revealed its plans to create the first self-sustainable city on the Red Planet, which is set to be ready for residents in 2100. The city will be called Nüwa and will be located at Tempe Mensa on one of the Martian cliffs. Its position inside a rock on the steep cliff will protect its residents from radiation and meteorites (cool!) while still giving them

Intangible Future (Άυλο Μέλλον )
We are in 2040. Technology has changed even further. Vehicles do not have drivers. The environment above the ground is also used for movements. There are no mobile devices at all. Technology can read thinking and plan everything. But people are more lonely and alienated. Bet with the environment has been lost. Temperatures are high, there are severe weather events and extreme situations. Diet has changed. Food is chemically and technically manufactured. The offices are digital. Biodiversity has been reduced. But life expectancy has increased paradoxically.
A greener eco-friendly future
Electric cars/buses to have replaced the current ones in more than 50%. Big cities are greener and more spacious and mobility is not only achivend by cars and buses but also by bicycles. People will work 4 days/ week and have time to enjoy their families and homes, also have more time to travel.
Umut (umut)
I think our sustainable resources to sustain our existence must be maintained, and in the next 20 years, glaciers melting, trees reductions, the growth of the concrete system will have a very bad impact on human life in the long term. My idea is to make each living individual do one sustainability project in their lifetime. Even planting a tree will be useful if we think that all people will do it, and we will be useful to the next generation.
Walking Night (Περπατώντας στο δρόμο τη Νύχτα )
A better future should be free from the serious problems of today: violence, war, hostility, rape, crimes against people by other people, all of which I would like to have reduced. Everyone’s rights to be equal regardless of their race, sexuality, gender, what they love and what they stand for. Equality of practice, not only by name, but also in practice. Equal pay, education, education in all areas that determine a person’s future. I would like to believe that other key issues such as hunger, poverty, basic human rights and the needs of the human being covered to survive will have been resolved. We will also solve one key problem: the destruction of our own planet. And if we have not solved it, we will have made very important moves to solve it by involving citizens and persuading it is an important issue of those who are now unaware of it.
Democratic,fair for all Europe
A democratic, fair Europe, without any corruption, without any poverty and with respect to the environment. I hope there will be more equality, fair practises for all, participation and solutions given to problems such as poverty and corruption. The rights of workers will be priority and not those of profits of big corporations.
People for Gaia
I see a future free of war, where people care for each other - where economy and prosperity are important but also the protection of our planet and the biosphere as a whole is a significant priority.
I also see (hope for) a future free of too much daily involvement of people with social media, that instead have been transformed to globalized liberal (not for profit) platforms of circulating ideas and democracy.
People at 2040 have started thinking (I hope) the idea of Gaia and our planet as a self-controlled, harmonic, and interactive complex of biological and non-biological worlds that we should care about.
