Inside the first self-sustainable city on Mars - by ABIBOO studio
Construction of the city of Nüwa could start in 2054 and will see 250,000 people live inside the rock of a steep cliff. Freeze my body, melt me in 80 years, and send me to Mars. Architecture studio ABIBOO has revealed its plans to create the first self-sustainable city on the Red Planet, which is set to be ready for residents in 2100. The city will be called Nüwa and will be located at Tempe Mensa on one of the Martian cliffs. Its position inside a rock on the steep cliff will protect its residents from radiation and meteorites (cool!) while still giving them

Social justice, equality and education
Even though we cannot expect drastic changes to be made in the near future, we ought to be hopeful, as well as realistic. The differences I wish to see in the world, mainly have to do with social justice, equality and education. I wish to see the world become a safer place, embracing everyone regardless of their background; and that change can only come through proper nurturing and education.
Fossil fuels are a menace to society. Let's switch to cleaner sources of energy
One of the most important changes I would like to see in the future has to do with our energy consumption and production. It is vital that we switch to renewable sources of energy soon, as its severely harmful to the environment. In fact, the Earth's fossil fuel reserves are running quite low (about 47 years' worth of oil remaining. Source: https://lisbdnet.com/how-much-oil-left-on-earth/). Establishing a reliable grid of solar panels/wind turbines/nuclear facilities across the planet may be the best thing we can do as a society, given the fact that our planet will not survive otherwise. Such a change will be beneficial not only in the planet-saving sense, but also in the quality-of-life sense. We can ensure that the next generations live in a world free of pollution, coexisting with the ecosystem - instead of destroying it.
A different planet - a different life
I imagine a planet that we will respect more the nature, with alternative sources of energy. Our planet will have stopped being overheated, the sky will continue to be blue and the seas will be nice to swim in. We will have sufficient food and water for the people, as we will have found new ways of agricultural. Technology will have led to energy balance, as new way of work will have risen. We will travel mainly for pleasure and less for work - as we will have the option to work from anywhere. we will have understood that our home, our planet will need more respect, in terms of energy and spending
Reflections of a promising tomorrow
I dream of a world of social prosperity that makes wise use of green technology and invests on medical advances to fight fatal diseases and ensure good life standards for most people. I dream of a future world that focuses on education and human rights as the cornerstone of achieving social welfare in order to raise a resourceful and inquisitive young generation capable of sustaining the human legacy of our planet.
My perfect world
The world is far from perfect and it will always be that way. I do not think much can change in an 18 year span. However, when I imagine a better world, the first thing that comes to my mind is a world of equality and care. A world where every person is cared for regardless his\her appearance, culture or status. A world where wealth is evenly distributed to every single person on the planet, so that everyone can follow their dreams and make them come true. A fair world, one full of happiness and joy. That would be my perfect world, my perfect future.
A better future for a better world (Ένα καλύτερο μέλλον για ένα καλύτερο κόσμο)
I would like to change in the future the relationship between man and the environment, as I consider that now humans do not respect or love nature. I think it should protect and care for the mother’s nature. In addition, it would be ideal for all people to become the best day and love their fellow people and their nearby. Be altruistic and think about the general good and not just their personal interest.
