Inside the first self-sustainable city on Mars - by ABIBOO studio
Inside the first self-sustainable city on Mars - by ABIBOO studio
Construction of the city of Nüwa could start in 2054 and will see 250,000 people live inside the rock of a steep cliff. Freeze my body, melt me in 80 years, and send me to Mars. Architecture studio ABIBOO has revealed its plans to create the first self-sustainable city on the Red Planet, which is set to be ready for residents in 2100. The city will be called Nüwa and will be located at Tempe Mensa on one of the Martian cliffs. Its position inside a rock on the steep cliff will protect its residents from radiation and meteorites (cool!) while still giving them

Stadt der Zukunft

Walls are equipped with interactive screens that show soft colors and calming images at home Dramatic climate change has happened. good renewable energy cities have turned into green oases with lots of gardens and solar panels Everyone fought for a sustainable future Education has evolved and children were taught in interactive classrooms equipped with virtual reality. This allowed them to experience the effects of climate change first-hand and develop solutions.
Fremtidens energi
Fremtidens energi
By 2040, the energy system in Denmark will be completely flexible and powered by renewable energy. Power from wind and solar is stored in large Power-to-X plants, so we always have energy when we need it. Cities are designed to be green and people-friendly with more recreational areas and fewer cars. Transportation is electrified and high-speed trains connect the entire country, making domestic air travel unnecessary. Energy is no longer a constraint, but a resource we use intelligently.
bessere Welt
bessere Welt
The first thing I would like to see is a world that lives in peace and whose primary goal is to fight poverty. I would also like us all to do our bit to stop climate change or, if that is not possible, at least slow it down. It would also be nice if the richest people in the world gave away everything over 5 million and redistributed it among the world's population. This would go some way to alleviating the poverty problem. It would also be important for everyone to always have access to clean drinking water and not fall ill because they have to drink contaminated water in order to survive. That would be very nice and I would also like to live to be 150 years old and stay totally healthy and mentally fit.
Hopelijk een klein stukje van mijn toekomst
Hopelijk een klein stukje van mijn toekomst
In 2040 the housing crisis is solved and me and my boyfriend have a nice house in the Gooi. Because people's mental well-being + (technological developments) are now paramount instead of "work life" I now work 3/4 days a week from 10:00 to 15:00. The rest of the time I have left for household chores and free time. I also eat and exercise more and healthier because it is more affordable and I have more time for this. Oh yes and the cabinet has gone normie and at least cancelled (the interest of) student debts and brought them back to 0%.

Technology has evolved to a whole new level, both in the private and military spheres. It is likely that control over individuals' private lives and finances has increased, which has also led those who disagree to become emboldened and to create alternative and perhaps even more creative financial networks. But most importantly, the perception of prosperity and security among the people of our country has changed. The UN has ceased its useless activities. A new security organisation has been created, perhaps already in cooperation with a more coldly developed civilisation, which is already preventing war conflicts from the outset. That is to say, not by allowing war to break out and allowing people to die, but simply by isolating the instigators of these conflicts at the very first stage of their ideas and plans. These new arrangements for the total prevention of armed conflicts make it pointless to spend the resources of armaments and those resources are invested in the well-being of people in the broadest sense of the word. The war between Russia and Ukraine is over in 2025, but the sanctions against Russia still exist. This Russian aggression is an example of the fact that the concept of security in our land had to be changed, because the majority of the population of the land simply watched as hundreds of soldiers and innocent citizens were murdered every day, and we understand that this is so primitive and therefore it is no longer tolerable. Sanctions on Russia start to be removed after ten years, when democratic elections have been held there.
Europa 2040
Europa 2040
It was a sunny day in Europe, in the year 2050. The streets of Paris glistened in the sunshine, but they were not like those of yesteryear. Flying cars were whizzing through the air, while autonomous streetcars were cruising down the avenues. At the Eiffel Tower, a group of tourists took pictures with augmented reality glasses, while virtually exploring other historical eras of the city. In Amsterdam, the canals were toured by electric boats that glided silently. Inhabitants wore wearable devices that allowed them to interact with the world in an immersive way, and bicycles floated thanks to anti-gravity technology. In Berlin, glass and steel buildings covered with plants seemed to merge with the sky. Renewable energy dominated, with solar panels and wind turbines visible on every corner. People worked from anywhere, connected to the cloud, while enjoying the benefits of artificial intelligence that facilitated everyday tasks. The pace of life was calmer, but cities were still a hotbed of ideas and culture. History and innovation coexisted, creating a Europe where the future had already arrived, but remained a constantly evolving promise.
Niūri perspektyva
Niūri perspektyva
I would like to see a peaceful and harmonious future, but I doubt it will happen. Now that the climate is changing, there will probably be water shortages. I think there will be migration from southern Europe to northern Europe. I think that tourism will be developed here. There will also be a need for food, so agriculture will be important.
Tehnikaajastu on muutnud elu
Tehnikaajastu on muutnud elu
AI has taken over the world. Young people no longer spend their time sitting in university desks, because AI provides the answers through the internet. They are travelling a lot and experiencing new things. Relationships with their parents are almost broken because the worldview is so different between generations. To avoid this, more emphasis should be placed on humanity in everyday life, even in the age of high technology. The state of nature is the same as it is now, the climate has not changed. Technology has evolved and allows us to do things that are difficult for ordinary people to imagine today. It makes everyday life easier. Medicine, too, has evolved, giving hope to people who are ill. People have begun to seek the truth and many have discovered that God is real.

Bēdīgais 2040.gads
Migration from Africa and Asia is very strong. Europe has lost its identity and is always trying to adapt to the demands of immigrants. There are many terrorist attacks. There is an aggressive and terrorist state in the eastern neighbourhood, which has already appropriated large territories from other countries in various ways and is constantly hatching plans to appropriate Latvia as well. There is a constant threat and a very fragile sense of peace. There are many compromises that are only beneficial to the aggressive superpower. Under these conditions, there is no desire to bring offspring into the world - only immigrants breed - a problem that is more evident in well-off Western Europe, where there are more benefits. The greenhouse effect has resulted in very hot summers, unusual for the area, which has a major impact on yields. After fifteen years, I do not expect anything good and nice.
Il mondo futuro
Il mondo futuro
I envision a future where public transportation is ubiquitous, frequent, and has no impact on pollution, where renewable energy is preponderant, where the health service functions effectively and quickly, where public administration is simplified and at the service of the citizen, where schools have more resources to properly train students, where prevention and road control really works, and where justice is swift and fair
A morning in London
A morning in London
Opening my window first thing in the morning to take a fresh breath of clean air. This was despite living in eternally growing city of London. The air was crisp and without any pollutant smells. It was like being in a dense forest - the scent of trees and nature. Looking across the city I saw the glow of the rooftops - solar panels. Yes even in cloudy London everyone used solar power. This was because the tech had become so efficient that it was now possible to generate enough electricity for the average flat. Looking around I also spotted the buildings that instead chose to opt for green roofs. Vegetation and plants being used as a natural insulator but also to reduce the ovrrall temperature of the city during the hot summer months. Because the summers were getting hotter than ever each year. Thankfully this idea cooled the city down enough for it to be tolerable.
La mia utopia
La mia utopia
This is the future I would like.....there will be no more rich and poor, everyone will have what they need, the garbage collector will have the same salary as the politician. There will be tolerance, there will be more listening to each other without prejudice and bullying. First place will no longer be profit and the eagerness to produce and wanting more and more at the expense of others. First place will be personal growth and the pursuit of serenity. We will all have less but what we really need. Nature will be saved as well as our planet
