Inside the first self-sustainable city on Mars - by ABIBOO studio
Inside the first self-sustainable city on Mars - by ABIBOO studio
Construction of the city of Nüwa could start in 2054 and will see 250,000 people live inside the rock of a steep cliff. Freeze my body, melt me in 80 years, and send me to Mars. Architecture studio ABIBOO has revealed its plans to create the first self-sustainable city on the Red Planet, which is set to be ready for residents in 2100. The city will be called Nüwa and will be located at Tempe Mensa on one of the Martian cliffs. Its position inside a rock on the steep cliff will protect its residents from radiation and meteorites (cool!) while still giving them

Det gode Danmark, det billed vi viser udadtil
Det gode Danmark, det billed vi viser udadtil
In a good future, I would like to see sick people treated with respect and empathy. That sick people are not forced into everything (work trials) and that it should not take several years for this target group to get through the system. That it becomes easier to get the psychiatric help you need, and that the help is ongoing if this is what you need. More hands at the hospitals so that people aren't rounded up and have to wait for ages for appointments. That more schools are built so that our children and young people don't have to fight for attention and possibly be overlooked. That Dentist comes in over taxes, so everyone can get the help they need. That all salaries etc. increase so that it feels with the rising prices or vice versa that prices fall... I want a world where no one should feel left out because of status and wealth.
Mobilità a tutto tondo
Mobilità a tutto tondo
I think I'm going to Rome by train which is actually a shuttle so I can get there in half an hour. It is a tube in which the shuttle travels. In Rome there are no surface vehicles but you will move with single or multiple drones and with paths delimited by laser headlights that direct the path. This will be implemented in every European city. Unfortunately, given my age, I won't be there anymore. It's up to you to experiment
L'AI e la fine del lavoro salariato
L'AI e la fine del lavoro salariato
In 2040, AI is really artificial intelligence and no longer a powerful augmented statistic. Almost all jobs and workers are replaced by machines. Citizens receive all, or almost all, a subsistence income with which they can buy food or invest in crypto currencies to try to increase their income. This activity has a strong risk of manipulation but governments have managed to agree on a single AI system that avoids fraud and the possibility that the wealth generated ends up in the hands of a few. Finally, the end of wage labor leaves room for the creativity that has allowed the planet to reverse the course on the climate clisis.

People that aren’t white cis men would have equity and equal opportunities and hate crimes would be punished more seriously than regular crimes of the same seriousness. There would be less cars, more trains connecting europe, more rentable bikes, more trams and less noise pollution in bigger cities (metros). Food that is wasted from restraunts or school caffeterias would be given to people struggling to eat and there would be free healthcare and education for everyone.
Il progressso nel prossimo futuro
Il progressso nel prossimo futuro
There will be a greater development of artificial intelligence, and all citizens will connect to each other through it. The use of the microchip to be implanted on the skin of the hand will spread, and in it will be uploaded all your information and data, such as identity and health document, bank account number, possibility of making banking and financial transactions through it. Robots will spread in all homes that handle all household chores and the means of transport that use fossil fuel will disappear; the energy will be produced by mini nuclear power plants. It will be possible to reduce harmful emissions into the atmosphere, and wealth will be distributed more equally.
Unity and strength
Unity and strength
Unity, I would like to see Europe going back to what it was originally formed for. A unified approach that is for the good of all members not just the larger countries. Europe needs to become more together on the large issues like defence, energy, climate change and migration. We should have a common military strategy to DEFEND Europe, a common shared energy network and a common standard to migration. That should probably be a points based type system and also we need a quicker turn around on assessment of applicants. Also we should look to welcome the UK back to Europe

All the children would be warmly clothed and fed. All pupils would learn well and there would be no failing grades. All working people would earn enough to buy the food they want, and wear new clothes. Disabled people and pensioners would also have enough money to buy all the food they want, enough money to travel, and not have to be sad to see people in other countries.
2040 The year of world peace
2040 The year of world peace
The world would be at peace and that the richer countries would help poverty in the poorer regions. Also I imagine Ai will play a very big part of life in 2040.No more diesel or petrol cars are to be produced. Very warm summers with many people dying and strong winter storms.Hopefully there is a cure for Cancer.Smoking to be banned in most countries.Respevt for each others religious views would be tolerates.
Schöne Welt
Schöne Welt
The morning sun falls through my window, and I breathe in the fresh air. My housing estate is built sustainably, with lots of greenery, clean water and healthy food for everyone. I feel the energy in my body – all the years of conscious movement and good decisions have been worth it. Outside, I meet people from different cultures, but we all share the same values: Respect, equality and community. No one has to fight for fundamental rights – education, healthcare and co-determination are a matter of course for everyone. In my studio, I work on ergonomic tools that make everyday life easier for people with special needs. Thanks to new technologies, I can design individual aids that enable real self-determined life. In the evening I meet with friends who share my values. We not only celebrate our successes, but also the way to get there – because we know that life is more than just functioning. 2050 is not perfect, but it is a place where health, equality and community are no longer dreams, but lived reality.
Moderni medicina
Moderni medicina
I hope that in 2040 there will be no shortage of doctors and no such long queues. I hope that all medicine in Lithuania will have improved. In 2040 it will be easier to live, the state will give money to its citizens, I think it will be easier for young families to buy a house, and there will be no shortage of places in kindergartens. There will be no need to have to save for a second pillar pension.
La luce dopo il tunnel
La luce dopo il tunnel
From the dark times of 2020/21/22/23 and 24 we are finally out! Now we are in 2040, I have 6 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren almost all graduates and wonderfully employed with respectable salaries! Russia has joined the EU and is supporting the whole European continent with its raw materials! The majority of immigrants returned to their countries after having acquired various professional skills in European countries. Africa in general is developing steadily and productively. For about ten years now, we have finally had serious, well-prepared and above all human politicians in government who know how to interpret the true mission of those who must govern and manage the well-being of their people! Who would have thought that we would come out of the tunnel of wars and nefarious globalization in so few years? My old age looks serene!!
Una normale giornata nel 2040
Una normale giornata nel 2040
4 April 2040. It's a day like any other: I leave home and comfortably reach my office thanks to the 44, an electric bus that allows me not to stress driving and to relax listening to the news from the world that go by wire. For lunch, I spend an hour in nature, eating in the park near the office, in one of the many areas equipped with benches, tables and baskets for separate collection. I can always feel connected thanks to the public wi-fi coverage of the city and, thanks to this, I organize and book an aperitif with my friends to unplug after a day of work.
