Europe in 2040 is a very different place than it was in the past. Meanwhile, Paris has become the capital of artificial intelligence, where humanoid robots help in everyday life - from healthcare to education. Teachers have become mentors as AI does most of the teaching, and doctors work alongside advanced medical robots that diagnose illnesses in seconds. In Rome, the Old Town has been completely restored using nanotechnology to preserve historic buildings while modern housing complexes are hidden underground. The European Union has been transformed into a more decentralised system, where regions have more autonomy but are connected by high-speed hyperloop links that take people from Berlin to Madrid in less than two hours. But Europe 2040 is not just a technological marvel - it is a society where the focus is on people's well-being. The working week is reduced to four days, with robots doing most of the repetitive tasks. People have more time for art, sport and personal development. Borders between countries have become almost invisible as citizens have digital identities that allow them to move and work freely anywhere on the continent. Despite all these developments, Europe is not without its challenges. Climate change has left its effects, especially in the southern areas where people are gradually migrating northwards. However, the European Federation has developed a comprehensive plan to help the affected areas and ensure stability. As the sun sets over the futuristic skyscrapers of Amsterdam, shining in the blue light of smart glass, young artist Lara smiles. This also contributes greatly to the health of the people. Because most diseases are caused by eating unhealthy food. The influx of migrants into Europe will stop. This will significantly improve public safety, minimise crime and eliminate the threat of terrorism. People of the Muslim faith who remain in Europe or have lived here for some time will be free to practise their religion. They have already learned to adapt to life according to European standards. They study, work and bring up their children like other European children. Prosperity is growing. People can start profitable and successful businesses that are fit for the modern age. Wages are sufficient to live on and families can live to a high standard. Europe's population is a stress-free, peaceful and much healthier society.

I woke up and looked at the clock. It was the 18th of February 2040. How did we get here so quickly I thought? It all seemed like a dream. The world looked different. The EU did not exist in its original form. It consisted of 20 states and signed a free trade agreement with the USA in 2026. Since then Europe had a somewhat similar status to Canada and Greenland which held referendums about becoming the states of the USA. The referendum in the EU about the same issue did not pass like in Canada or Greenland, which became the states of the USA, but in the year 2042 we are having a rerun of the referendum, and this time it looks like it will pass. So in a few years, we will probably be part of the USA, everyone will have the freedom of speech, and we will all be happy rich, and prosperous. The golden age of Europe has finally arrived and it is here to stay. In the biggest free market on this planet with the independent, free-thinking entrepreneurial population.

I would like to see a world where renewable energy is no longer a luxury, but is available to the world independently of their economic background. I see that every person, from the remote to the urban areas, has access to energy, energy and the world. I see a world where the air is cleaner, where life and nature are progressing, and where climatic changes are no longer so pleasant. I also see a world whose economy is based on renewable sources of energy, and no longer on fossil fuels, where the earth is in need of a little saving, and where it controls fuel storage.

I envision a future where sustainable energy is the norm, and every home and business relies on clean, renewable sources like solar and wind power. By 2040, I hope to see cities with green infrastructure, widespread use of electric vehicles, and policies that support environmental conservation. This future would include community-driven sustainability efforts, such as urban gardens, energy-efficient buildings, and improved public transportation systems to reduce pollution. These changes will lead to healthier communities, economic growth in green industries, and a significant reduction in carbon emissions.

I imagine our future in 2040 without war and with huge knowledge about health and prevention of diseases in average people. I hope that we will have more affordable healthcare system for everyone and less anti vaccinators. So, I imagine this time as we beats and decreases flu, Covid, hepatitis and etc. and because of awareness of health and balance of lifestyle I hope we will have more organic and basic food, less something what is so processed. And based on all this healthy stuff we can have better and responsible life. And my dream that we stop “normalising” alcohol as something like essential part of holidays and celebrations.

The world in 2040 is a way more peaceful place than in the past, of course there are problems and disagreements between people, polititians, countries, but we don’t resolve problems with violence, killings and threats but with words and understanding of each side. we make compromises, help people, not harm them. people are treated equally, no matter their gender, race, beliefs. we support love and positivity not hate. the pat is equal for all genders, people of all colours and religions.

I'd like there to be no more wars and no more killing in 2049. People should be more concerned about the planet and how to protect it and take care of it, the same for animals which are an important part of our population. Humans should not put themselves at the top of the food chain and every individual should learn to live and respect their surroundings and not just think about themselves, their own benefit or money.

I would like everything to go back to the days of my youth, when life was full of beautiful moments and expectations, life security and freedom, beautiful nature training and camping., just a world without premornized technology., internet and other would-be helping nonsense like Al and other nonsense.

Hope one day Croatia will be free from coruption. Hope the lowe and equality wil be main course. Hope that people wont leave their home and those who has left due to coruption will com back. Hope that criminals will be in jaill and people will get paid as neaded.
