Inside the first self-sustainable city on Mars - by ABIBOO studio
Construction of the city of Nüwa could start in 2054 and will see 250,000 people live inside the rock of a steep cliff. Freeze my body, melt me in 80 years, and send me to Mars. Architecture studio ABIBOO has revealed its plans to create the first self-sustainable city on the Red Planet, which is set to be ready for residents in 2100. The city will be called Nüwa and will be located at Tempe Mensa on one of the Martian cliffs. Its position inside a rock on the steep cliff will protect its residents from radiation and meteorites (cool!) while still giving them

Un viitor frumos
Today is December 31, 2040, I will move on to another year, but the one they went through was super good, the world on the street is happy, we all have stable jobs, those who take care of our health do everything to keep us healthy. Our children had the opportunity to complete higher education and are now employed by world-renowned companies. The future is beautiful, we will always be a united Eurpopa!
Viver em sorrisos
I'd like to feel fulfilled both personally and professionally in 2040. To have the financial stability to achieve my goals, such as furnishing my house to my liking without having to worry about the price. Traveling the world, living unique experiences, learning about every culture in every country and enriching my knowledge. To help everyone who is special to me and people in my community and others I don't know who are going through financial difficulties. To put an end to street animals, build homes for everyone and employ as many people as possible. To be healthy so that I can enjoy a happy life. To make a difference and help the world to be happier.
Budúcnosť udržateľnosti
In 2040, I would imagine a future where sustainability is a natural part of everyday life. My dream is a world in which we have switched to clean energy, effectively recycling and minimising waste. I imagine cities full of greenery, smart, self-generating buildings, and transport systems powered by renewable resources.
Technology should be our ally – artificial intelligence and robotics would make our work easier and give us more time for family, education and creativity. Healthcare would be accessible and personalised, with advanced genetics and biotechnology, we would be able to prevent most diseases.
But the most important thing is to move as a society towards greater empathy and cooperation. The world in 2040 should not only be technologically advanced, but also more humane, where people value nature, education and mutual respect more.
Entre Saúde e Aprender, devia-se ter metido a colher.
In my view, this future will unfortunately have many aspects that have a tendency to get worse.
We can start with education: not only are children and young people constantly "glued" to their cell phones/tablets/computers, but due to the pandemic, students have fallen behind and don't have the same thinking skills as they did 10 or 20 years ago. To give you an example: I have completed a practical course in hospitality, and I was in charge of a trainee. On a day when an essential machine broke down, it wasn't a problem for me because I was taught how to obtain the final product, but manually. I learned from her that due to the pandemic they didn't focus on these subjects, and that the main thing was for the students to pass. So much for the "do-it-yourself" generation.
As for health, more and more private hospitals will appear, doctors from the SNS will leave for the same due to better conditions, which will mean that users will also feel obliged to resort to the same due to the weak state support for the SNS.
Transport, I believe, will improve over time: the constant increase in paid parking, the demand from users for public transport, and the increasingly scarce remote work will reach breaking point before 2030 and will require the purchase of more equipment, the renewal of tracks and materials and even more frequent use.
Speranta
I want to live a safe future for the people. Travel without restrictions and fear. Let us take care of the earth because only one exists and our life depends on it. I want peace and cooperation between countries. I want to contribute by working for a better evolution of the future of , in peace and understanding. I want the hope of living in safe and peaceful times for future generations.
We are better together!
We have come a long way since the turn of the millenia. We struggled with out identity, because we were holding tight to those antiquated lines we call borders and that led us to fight among ourselvesm Luckly we managed to find common ground in our shared beliefs and our vision for a better future, we reached out and learned that our neighbour is not our enemy. Now we are rebuilding a better and more united Europe, where borders are starting to fade away leaving room for collaboration and innovation. We are better together!
Un mondo più buono
A territory full of economic prosperity, where social differences do not exist, and where a child can smile and be happy with his family, without suffering hunger and lack. A future in which we will all be understanding with our neighbor, more Christian and better in spirit. A future without wars, without hatred, without contempt and without discrimination of age or health, etc.
Inovatie si evolutie tehnologica si alimentara
I imagine the future to be much more innovative in terms of medical science and agriculture. I believe that research and science will evolve and many operations will be done with robots and will be much easier than classical operations.I also imagine that new enzymes and beneficial bacteria will be discovered and even a treatment for endometriosis so that women can be cured and lead a normal life. As far as agriculture is concerned, there will be more ecological solutions to improve soil quality and the efficiency of organic crops.
Utópia
Social equality, tolerance, understanding, thinking in terms of humanity instead of thinking in terms of nations. Real equality of opportunity through excellence in education. A basic income to end extreme poverty. A socially responsive society capable of working together for the common future of humanity. Finally, one can really look to the stars.
Vcasih je bilo bolje
An end to the rich-poor divide. I wish for a time when you could live a normal life if you were diligent and fasted. I would abolish kingdoms, presidents, the church ...
I would like to see major investment in health and education for those from whom we can then expect help. If everyone had a home and a livelihood, there would be no problems.
