Inside the first self-sustainable city on Mars - by ABIBOO studio
Construction of the city of Nüwa could start in 2054 and will see 250,000 people live inside the rock of a steep cliff. Freeze my body, melt me in 80 years, and send me to Mars. Architecture studio ABIBOO has revealed its plans to create the first self-sustainable city on the Red Planet, which is set to be ready for residents in 2100. The city will be called Nüwa and will be located at Tempe Mensa on one of the Martian cliffs. Its position inside a rock on the steep cliff will protect its residents from radiation and meteorites (cool!) while still giving them

Planeta azul e verde
Now in 2040, non-renewable energy is not used. All energy used is renewable and is effectively managed. Recycling is part of everyone's day-to-day life, as is caring for nature. Contrary to what was previously seen, there is no garbage on the beaches, in the sea and in the woods.

How I see it and how I would like it to be our future and that of our children, with peace around the world, without wars, conflicts that destabilize an entire world and make you afraid of tomorrow. More balanced young people who have a purpose in life, without drugs and all the vices of today. That the elderly know how to love life so that those in the West , are not affected by a too small pension from which they can not live, to be healthier and to have as many occupational activities as possible and for them, to make it useful.

Jobs should be either at home or in the nearest neighborhood, depending on your home.
Cities are overcrowded and overloaded with cars.
Suspended means of public transport to facilitate traffic.
Let's not overlook the care of nature, it is much needed to breathe a healthy air, so very often green spaces, especially in large cities.
Bright Future
In 2040, there is only one country on the European continent: The USE(United States of Europe), with a single government and a single army.
But there are no human soldiers; they are all cyborgs capable of repairing themselves. The world is at peace, however.
Nuclear energy is used to produce energy and there are beautiful parks.
Everyone is friendly. Nobody works except AI, so people now create art, music, and paintings.
There are Centers where people discuss philosophical ideas.
Magie
In 2050, the city was a fascinating blend of advanced technology and regenerated nature. The streets were smooth and quiet, with most vehicles being electric and autonomous. Drones flew over people's heads, delivering packages, and solar power feeds almost every building, making them independent of traditional grids.
It was February 18, and the sun was setting on a world that had changed a lot in the last 25 years. In 2025, climate change had been an imminent threat and governments were just starting to take action. But since then, people have been collaborating globally more than ever. Carbon capture technologies were implemented on a large scale, and artificially planted forests helped restore the natural balance.
The world was going through an energy revolution. In 2027, the first fusion nuclear power plants offering clean, cheap and almost unlimited energy were created. That was a turning point. A global decision to ban petrol and diesel cars followed, and public transport became fully electric and autonomous.
What had previously been a dream – cities without traffic, clean air, and responsible consumption – had now become reality. People had more time for themselves, their families, and their education. Instead of spending hours in traffic, they were able to learn or create. Schools around the world had been transformed, with education based on practical learning and the development of critical thinking, not just on memorizing information.
Another important step between 2025 and 2050 had been in personalized medicine. DNA tests and genetic therapies had helped prevent many diseases, and people's biological age had decreased. People lived longer and healthier lives, and the concept of ‘aging’ had transformed, and it was now a much slower process and much less related to physical limitations.
On this day in February 2050, a 25-year-old man was walking through an urban park, surrounded by plants, trees and flowers that had perfectly integrated into the modern structures of the city. Around him, everything seemed to have found a perfect balance: Technology did not destroy nature, but protected and enriched it. He was thinking about how the future has changed thanks to the work and dedication of past generations, who have not allowed themselves to be influenced by obstacles, but have sought solutions for a sustainable future.
He knew that this future would not have been possible without sacrifice. In a world where climate change threatened the entire ecosystem and where natural resources were on the verge of extinction, people had come to realize the true value of the planet. This was the vital lesson his generation had learned from the experiences of 2025-2035: how to live in harmony with the environment and how to protect what is really important.
"We may have made a difference," he thought, feeling the fresh, warm air of the evening, "but we must never forget what was before."
And so, in the silence of that February day, the future seemed more promising than ever.
A képzeletbeli táj
I live on a beach with a long stretch of beach, lots of trees on the beach, and houses hanging in the air, as well as flying cars, surrounded by the environment.
The sun is shining heavily, and the animals can come out of the water because they are amphibians. We humans can only dive underwater in our scuba suits.
A greener world
I would like people to care more about our environment. To stop cutting trees, or at least to plant more trees before cutting the old ones.
I would like to see more people leaving their cars at home and travel on foot on long distances. Or have one car per family and not 4. I would like people to think more about our children future and not live only for the day...
Împlinire
I've been through a lot as a human being in the last few decades and I've finally learned something from it all: wars, pandemics, economic crises, etc. So far we have gone with the wave and we have not taken action, but we could not continue like this because we were going down the drain. We have started to understand what is really important and to take action. We are all so much happier and fulfilled. Health is good, we have a beautiful and fulfilling vomit. Smiles are no longer missing from our face.
2040: Educação Transformadora
By 2040, education is accessible, personalized and practical. With support from technology, such as virtual reality and AI, students learn at their own pace, focusing on critical thinking, empathy and sustainability. Teachers act as guides, while schools become spaces for innovation and community projects. Education is continuous, open to all ages, promoting a more inclusive society, creative and prepared for the challenges of the future.
Viitorul omenos
In the year 2040 I hope that in my country there will no longer be people who have nothing to eat I hope that the cost of living will be easy for everyone and people will have adequate salaries. And I would also like to improve the field of health, people to be treated and beautifully by doctors assistants, etc. And better trained staff to avoid misdiagnoses and inadequate treatments, to stop this carelessness in the health system.
Im in the future
The future is a landscape of possibilities, shaped by technology, human ambition, and unpredictable events. It could be a world of seamless artificial intelligence, where automation and machine learning redefine work, creativity, and daily life. Space exploration might expand humanity’s reach to Mars and beyond, while biotechnology could extend lifespans and eradicate diseases.
Climate change will remain a defining challenge, pushing societies toward renewable energy and sustainability. Social and political landscapes may shift with changing demographics, digital governance, and global cooperation—or conflict. The future is neither utopian nor dystopian; it will be a mix of progress and setbacks, shaped by the choices we make today.
