2025-2050, 25 jaar aan vooruitgang, maar niet zoals we verwacht hadden.

It's 7:00 in the morning, and I wake up in my smart house. My bed has adapted to my sleeping pattern so that I feel rested and fresh. The coffee has already been made in the kitchen, thanks to the AI that stored my preferences at night. As I take the first sip, I get a notification on my tablet: The news of the day is presented by a digital assistant, who summarizes the events of the past 24 hours.

The city has changed. Self-driving vehicles glide silently along the streets, but there is still room for the familiar hand-held cars. The air is cleaner than ever, although climate change has left its mark: Summers are warmer and winters milder. Europe has done a lot to replace fossil fuels, but there are still areas that rely on old networks.

In school there is little to see of the traditional textbooks. Instead, we use tablets and laptops for our classes, with AI constantly watching and providing support. Learning is more interactive and personalized than ever. Teachers focus more on creative and social skills, while the technical aspects are taken care of by the machines.

I work from home, as most people do now. The technology has made it possible to be productive without changing location. My workplace is supported by AI, which takes over most administrative tasks. This has significantly reduced the workload, but new social challenges have arisen. AI makes it harder to distinguish who is a human and who is a robot, so new verification systems are being developed.

In the afternoon I spend time in the digital museum, where artworks by both people and AI are presented. While AI art is impressive, human handwriting remains the most loved. The physical museums, full of ancient art and artifacts, remain the favorite destination of many.

Love, however, remains the greatest driver of society. In an age of technological advancement and increasingly complex digital world, the deeper human connections are stronger than ever. Despite the fact that people often work from home and therefore spend more time with their loved ones, the culture of consumption has increased. Convenience has led to a life where physical activity is often neglected, and while the technology supports our well-being, there are also negative effects such as less exercise and an increase in mental health problems.

Religion also plays a role in this new world, with Catholicism providing, even in this futuristic society, a source of comfort and direction for many. Churches are filled with people seeking spiritual deepening, and the age-old rituals continue to have a deep meaning even in the midst of technological change. The church not only offers a spiritual anchor, but also a space for community and care for each other. The message of love, compassion and responsibility for the other remains a foundation, even in times of impersonal technology.

Technology has made life easier, but also more complex. Despite all progress, human creation, connection and experience remain central to the world of 2050. Love for each other, our earth and our history will always prevail.

International world
Ideally, I like to think of a future in 2040 for example, that is even more international that the world we live in today. In fact, I consider that nowadays, when compared to the previous years and the generation of my parents and grandparents, our reality is way more international and I've lived it myself. But I like to believe that in the future it will be even more easy to travel and explore other countries and share international experiences worldwide. However, I'm afraid that these expectations I have in mind for the future might be stopped by wars and international conflicts related to politics.

It's hard to think so far because I'm 75 now. Above all, I want my children and grandchildren to live in a safe world with democratic values, have the opportunity to work and education based on their conditions , have access to a nature that is not private and also a culture that is not expensive

I would like 2040 to be antidiscriminate for people above 26 years old to get job. I mean here 26 years old is unmet to apply jobs. I mean its limited only from 18 to 25 years old. And the rest people are jobless even 40s and 50s years old. The issues are a lot. But i can't believe it its difficult here also to do business or self employee. Because everyone also have no job, and less moneys, to buy our products very challenging. I wanna see this will improved and people are secure financialy, can pay taxes, more integrity, prosper. I can't describe the future would be. Clearly, the future i wish is full of blessings and prosperity.
