After some radical upheavals, we are in a beautiful sunny spring. The seasons have changed, we are the last generation that still knows what it was like in the last millennium. But one gets used to everything, changes happen wherever the Earth stands and they have to be accepted. Finally it has happened, people have calmed down and focused on the joy of life, they have started to socialise and exchange. Previously fascinating advances in technology have become a necessary part of everyday life, but they have not succeeded in tearing people apart and throwing them into an otherwise voluntary isolation and self-centredness. Children chase each other around the meadows and help themselves to the fruit on the neighbour's pear tree, with their furry friends. Mothers know that children naturally develop into adults and responsible persons, having been deprived of this themselves. People have become tolerant, less egoistic and, as a result, happier. They have managed to turn technology and all changes in their favour, for the common good. Around us are smiling and sociable faces, aware of the role of their culture for future generations.

Ich wünsche mir für die Zukunft, dass die Welt bis dahin soweit befriedet ist, dass es nicht mehr zu solchen Kriegen kommt wie bisher. In den "Entwicklungsländern" sollte bis dahin eine Selbstverständlichkeit sein, dass die Völkwer sich friedlich auf ein Zusammenleben einstellen und mit der richtigen Technik ihr Leben so gestalten können, dass alle einen vernünftigen Lebensstandard, d. h. die richtigen Bildungschancen, genügend Nahrungsmittel usw. erhalten. Diese Länder verwalten Ihre Rohstoffe selbst und sind verlässliche Handelspartner für die "Industriestaaten". Die Technik ist soweit fortgeschritten, dass Solarstrom in genügenden Mengen gespeichert werden kann, sodass "Dunkelflauten" auch über mehrere Tage und im Winter überwunden werden können. Gerade in den Wüstengebieten wird die Solarstromernte so gut ausfallen können, dass alle Menschen auf der Erde ihr Auskommen haben, so dass es nicht nötig wäre, andere Völker in kriegerischen Auseinandersetzungen zu überfallen

I imagine that we are all very busy freeing nature from all the concrete. We are happy because there is finally security and peace all over the world. The bad people are gone and we can enjoy the good air and nature in all its splendor. We will cook and eat together, nobody is envious of anyone else. Everyone is happy with what they have, because they have everything they need to live. The waters are no longer polluted and no one is cruel to animals or uses them as test subjects. We all have only one faith and only one God, to whom we are grateful for everything he gives us every day. We are getting healthier and fitter every day and we can travel the world without money and see and experience everything that we previously only knew from books or movies. We will be welcome everywhere and get along with everyone. There will be no more stress or entrepreneurs who want to get richer and richer. Because no money in the world can buy life.

Between now and 2050 my life could be transformed in extraordinary ways. I imagine reaching personal and professional milestones that seem far away today. I might change careers, following a passion I have always kept hidden, or perhaps start a project that inspires others. My relationships will grow and change: new friendships, deep loves, perhaps a family that will enrich my days. Travel may take me to faraway places, opening me to different cultures and perspectives. Revolutionary technologies will affect my daily life, simplifying current challenges and offering me unimaginable opportunities. I know there will be obstacles, but every difficulty will make me stronger and wiser. Looking back in 2050, I may smile, acknowledging how much I have grown and how the path, with all its unexpected turns, has made my life unique and extraordinary.
