60% of our reserved for nature, an official law accepted in 2030, when climate change was at its worst. And 40% for 'human' use.

Humans used to claim all land, for housing, roads, agriculture, while leaving little pieces to create some 'green'.....We where fighting for land, everybody wanted their piece. Understandably, as this was the way we looked at living and owning stuff. This happily changed. We had to, because in 2028 climate change was at its worst. We started to realise that we are not 'supreme' as a spieces, but part of the beautiful natural world that is around us.

It was quite a struggle to pass this initiative, but as Bhutan, a little country in the Himalaya area, had already successfully integrated such an initiative in the early 20ths, we knew it was possible. And saw the results of more connected and happy people.

The food gets cheaper and more qualitative. They stop adding unknown cemicals to food. They allow people who have farms or orchards to sell products off the field. There is a sugar quota… they add less sugar everywhere and ban some of the more unhealthy sugary things like sodas. New types of therapies, drugs to increase the chance of a healthy convenient long life. Cancer will become a weaker opponent. Although the prognosis is not optimistic, there is hope that the number of health care workers will increase.

Utopia

I envision a world where common sense prevails, where there is respect for every living thing, for animals, plants and nature in general. Where everyone can satisfy basic needs. Where the word materialism no longer exists and money loses importance. I hope for a world where the word cancer is no longer scary

Mon futur à moi

I'd like the future to be safer for everyone. That life would be cheaper. That the poor be helped. That everyone would have a job and a roof over their heads and be able to eat their fill. That there will be no more famine or sick children anywhere in the world. That everything be settled and that we all move forward together without discrimination or anything. Everyone must be able to live in peace. My perfect future would be a world where everyone could live in peace.
