60% for nature

This image was generated with Dream Studio AI.

60% of our reserved for nature, an official law accepted in 2030, when climate change was at its worst. And 40% for 'human' use.

Humans used to claim all land, for housing, roads, agriculture, while leaving little pieces to create some 'green'.....We where fighting for land, everybody wanted their piece. Understandably, as this was the way we looked at living and owning stuff. This happily changed. We had to, because in 2028 climate change was at its worst. We started to realise that we are not 'supreme' as a spieces, but part of the beautiful natural world that is around us.

It was quite a struggle to pass this initiative, but as Bhutan, a little country in the Himalaya area, had already successfully integrated such an initiative in the early 20ths, we knew it was possible. And saw the results of more connected and happy people.

Like it was
I want to live in a future where people will be more kind, grow their own food and treat each other as brothers abd sister. There will be no classes, we will all be equally rich and if anyone would do anything to oppose that, s/he will be send to the space. Everyone will have jobs. No more homeless people and robots will help us in making that change cause, sadly, human nature is always corrupting. I would also raise some wild animals to look after for every human. We will live one with the nature and pollution will be on the lowest.

Den v roce 2050
Ema woke up in the quiet bedroom of her smart house. The windows automatically dimmed to keep out the morning sun, and the holographic assistant told her it was time to get up. She had an important meeting today - her first day at her new job as Sustainable Innovation Coordinator. The world had changed since 2025. After the global energy crisis, humanity had finally come together and invested in renewable energy. Fossil fuels were a thing of the past, and every city had its vertical farms to supply the population. While the climate crisis was not completely solved, people learned to live more sustainably. Ema went out and got into an autonomous solar vehicle. With a universal basic income, no one had to choose between survival and personal development. Technology served people, not corporations. She watched the city with a smile - full of green, clean air, and people who finally had time to live, not just survive.

Evropa
A strong and economically stable Europe. Safe, free of the free-riders who suck it dry and abuse its softness, ignoring not only morals but laws, stealing, murdering and raping. And by that I mean Arab economic migrants specifically. So that Europe can compete with Russia and America. A Europe with a strong and self-sufficient army, without nonsense like regulations on what butter or rum should be called. And where one is not afraid to speak one's mind and not be corrected when one uses only 3 genders and only recognizes the biological sexes. So that the European Parliament can be useful and not just a newsagent's shop where people blather on and receive fat bonuses.

Města v rovnováze s přírodním světem
The sun slowly rises over Prague, its rays reflecting off the green roofs of buildings covered with solar panels and gardens. I wake up in my smart home, which automatically optimises temperature and air quality based on my needs. The clothes I wear are made from biodegradable materials, designed to be easily recycled when worn. On my way to work, I ride in an autonomous hydrogen bus that moves quietly through traffic-free streets. By 2035, stringent measures to limit emissions have been introduced across the EU, and massive investment in renewable energy has transformed cities into self-sufficient ecosystems. Today, I'm free to take a short trip - a hyperloop will take me to Berlin in 30 minutes. Travelling between European capitals is now cheap, green and accessible to all. I think about how much the world has changed in the last 25 years: the climate crisis has forced humanity to act, technology has brought solutions and we have finally found a balance between progress and nature.
