In the year 2040 nobody drives combustion cars anymore. Public transport has improved a lot in recent years, now all vehicles are electric and eco-sustainable, there are many connections between cities and countries and a great time availability. Nobody has a private car because it is not practical, when in 5 minutes you have available a transport that takes you to your destination quickly, efficiently and for free! Renewable energies have become the standard. Thanks to this and other changes, climate change has been slowed down. Companies have substantially reduced their emissions of harmful gases, including CO2, and have stopped using non-renewable packaging in their products. Thousands of species have been saved worldwide, especially marine species, and the seas have been repopulated. In the year 2040, society's main concern is not its future, but what it is going to do on the weekend with all its free time, since it now only works from Monday to Thursday. What I have described is not a possible future right now, but it could be if politicians take the right measures, it just needs the will to change. The future of Europe is the future of all of us, it is the future of the planet.
