I dream of a future where people will all have houses to live in. The right to housing will be a law, not a happy accident. Some people won't have three houses and others will have none. In that future, then, we will all live in beautiful, well-kept homes, with spaces that meet everyone's needs. Our homes will form small tidy and healthy neighborhoods, with safe streets . Municipalities will be strongly involved in the care of their towns or villages. They will take care of good lighting, cleanliness, proper policing and of course entertainment. They will organise nice festivals, where the inhabitants will socialise and observe the customs and traditions of each area. They could, always healthy municipalities (i.e. those that make the most of their election and presence), work with the shops in their areas so that part of the revenue they get from the influx of people at the festivals could be used for that future where all the people will have homes to live in.

I have grown older. Together with my partner, I fulfilled my dream of building another house - after all, there was still room in the garden of the old house! It's not any smaller than the old house, but the layout is better. We have moved into the upper apartment - the office in the basement is no longer needed since we retired from work. It now serves as an apartment when children and grandchildren come to visit. Our neighborhood is constantly changing. Separations and deaths bring change. The houses don't stay empty for long. It is very popular to live in the village. People still look out for each other here and living together works. There are lots of activities for young and old, and most people are keen to get involved in voluntary work. All in all, it's a good place to grow older.
