In order to think about the future we need to clarify the past. So far, governance has been based on Myths: about climate, electric cars, Liberty, Equality, Fraternity and what not. Well none of those myths worked... That's in the past now.
In 2050 we will once again return to the basic maxim of the ancients: Truth, Justice, Liberty. In specifics, this maxim should mean:
1. Very little state involvement in the redistribution of wealth:
2. Low taxes or even no taxation;
3. No total control over citizens;
4. Governance through referendums.

The future would be colourful and varied, with respect, empathy and communication being the main themes in society. The environment would not be filled with competition, beauty and perfection, but with the individuality of the individual. There would be a shift from materialism to minimalism, people would be accepted as they are. Society would want to address the ecological crisis head-on.
