I would like to see a future where people have access to and purchase food that is largely plant-based, varied and provide elements for a healthy diet. School education includes learning about how food is produced and how to produce it with minimum environmental damage. Agro-ecology is mainstream in agriculture. The EU is largely independent from fossil fuels and uses less and renewable energy.

The future would be colourful and varied, with respect, empathy and communication being the main themes in society. The environment would not be filled with competition, beauty and perfection, but with the individuality of the individual. There would be a shift from materialism to minimalism, people would be accepted as they are. Society would want to address the ecological crisis head-on.
