Biodiversity all around us, also in our cities. Loud bird songs bring peace to the mind. Clear water directs my attention to the plants, fish and insects. Rivers and streams are restored, also in the forests that smell fresh and are so quiet that I hear a lynx sneak by. We truly live on a unique and miraculous planet called Earth. Humanity has been able to restore the Earth system processes that previously transgressed planetary boundaries. Humans have found a meaningful way of contributing to ecosystems rather than exploiting and polluting them, while still being able to use all the regenerative resources they need. This is celebrated as a huge achievement and could only be done by working together locally and internationally. This cooperation further inspires economic transformations and peace building so that quality of life is higher than ever before.
