I would like a federal Europe, and people could acquire European citizenship. A union of states, but also people. In these years we have learned to strengthen European values without losing effectiveness in day-to-day management. Capable of preserving acquired economic and social well-being, so that progress on integration seems to us to be the best way to achieve it and to meet the aspiration of being united in diversity. A Europe where citizens feel and are free.
