My European vision is a greener, more peaceful Europe. By 2040, the climate crisis will cause serious problems, which will become humanity's number one problem. In order to prevent this, we must act as soon as possible, which can only be brought about by green investments and because of which we have to reduce our comfort for a while in order to have a better future. Epidemiological measures will end for good by 2040 and Covid-19 will become a simple public disease, which will no longer pose a huge threat. However, in order to avoid further epidemics, certain restrictions may remain in place, such as the use of masks in hospitals and various public health institutions. Digitization will conquer such a huge space that it must be supported. However, we must be careful not to overdo it and in the end end up worse off with such investments, for example with unreasonably high prices, possible risks due to Internet crime. Immigration must be moderated and people must not be allowed in without checks. The problem must be solved locally and the Union must focus on this in the future in order to remain in a peaceful and calm environment. The only viable future for the European Union is to remain an economic alliance between nation states. In addition to the common European army, it can also be a military and law enforcement alliance. However, the independence of nation-states must not be lost. Everyone has their own culture and these should not be lost. According to everyone's own laws and wills, they must be independent and sovereign member states within the union. This is my Europe for 2040 in a nutshell!

My optimism doesn't let me despair, but with the help of medicine and AI, which will be a great help and influence my actions, I will be able to cope for a few more years. A few years ago, I was still working on construction sites all over Austria and Germany with people of all races and backgrounds, and now I'm a pensioner. A life with respect for the Faroe Islands on YOU and you. Vacationing at the lake where people are already supported by small robots in the catering and service sectors. In medicine, nothing works without robots and AI and in the years to come, autonomy will also find its way into transportation in order to protect the environment and the climate. To be able to continue to experience this, we need a great sense of togetherness.

We have returned to what is important. Nature, health, recreation and peace. Intact nature, clean air, living together with nature, animals and fellow human beings. We are discovering that it is no longer possible without shared values. Work is understood as a service to our environment and our livelihood. Modesty is once again a virtue. Quality and not quantity counts again. We only have one earth. Without renunciation, we will soon no longer exist. We are suddenly learning that all problems can be solved when we want to. When it is the "we" and not the "I" that counts.
