I always agreed late, because since my childhood I never liked waking up early, but I had all the rituals of a simple, normal life and waves, we were all different and lived differently. Since AI (Artificial Intelligence) was invented, the world is no longer the same. It is normal for us to be transported by aircars, we no longer need to clean our houses because a machine does it. People are trapped in their automated homes because we have a machine that washes, dries and irons clothes and a robot that sorts them by color and type. So a smart home system does all the boring work that used to leave me no time to research, read and just enjoy life doing the nice things I like. But the worst thing is that I have a boring life because friends and work colleagues no longer have time to spend with each other over a beer, a cup of tea and a pistachio, almond and honey muffin. Everything has changed, technology has teleported us to the age of science, of robots, of ChatGPT and it's over or hugging, or seeing a twinkle in the eye and the smile on the face of your friend and child or boyfriend/girlfriend. And why? Because science has taken the place of love and we've all become semi-machines. My Maltese dog is now a little robot dog. My neighbor's torrid life, which used to lead me to try to hear what was going on next door, now I know she's bought a robot inflatable doll to replace her boyfriend. Technology came along and robbed me of brotherly hugs, laughter with the Marias and philosophical chats with brothers and nephews. Ufffff...what a tedious life.

In 2040, greenery is everywhere. Nature has returned to our cities, thanks to our ecological policies. The far right will no longer be present, and everyone will care about the climate. Where politicians and public figures show respect for people, and where educational institutions no longer contain topics that are uncomfortable to talk about. Across Europe, wherever they live, whatever their gender, race, religion, health, gender identity or sexual orientation, whatever their background, they feel safe, dignified and respected. Imagine how that respect for each other allows people to create, work, dream and achieve their dreams freely - with economic prosperity, a willingness to share and help each other, people's trust in government, and security - because every citizen believes and wants to defend, even if it means by force of arms, his or her country.

A future characterized by solidarity and caring, where the capitalist consumer society has been partially replaced by a society where caring for each other is a priority. A utopia to change society before 2040 but hopefully we can take some steps in the right direction. A society where both rich and poor have access to good healthcare and education. Taking care of each other and this planet gets more focus than fighting over land.
