In 2040 I imagine AI to be playing a great part within our households. AI powered systems will manage household tasks perfectly well, like adjusting temperatures, lighting to optimise energy consumption. Personal assistants will understand the household preferences and routines, anticipates needs such as grocery orders, meal suggestions or schedules tasks. AI co old also help in managing the family health by offering health plans according to the needs of the family members, reminders for medication and/or appointments. The assistance in manual chores would also be beneficial. Holistically This would mean an enhanced quality of life.

The future would be colourful and varied, with respect, empathy and communication being the main themes in society. The environment would not be filled with competition, beauty and perfection, but with the individuality of the individual. There would be a shift from materialism to minimalism, people would be accepted as they are. Society would want to address the ecological crisis head-on.
