I woke up early in Lisbon, in my house with walls covered in bioenergy moss, which regulates the temperature and generates clean electricity. The air was fresh and clean, because in 2035 the European Union completed the transition to 100% sustainable transportation. Now, electric flying cars and ultra-fast public transport systems have made cities quieter and greener.

I took a solar train to Brussels to attend a conference on regenerative technology. In just 40 minutes, I crossed half of Europe, thanks to the new quantum transportation network. On the way, I admired the landscapes: replanted forests, vertical agricultural fields and cities that coexist harmoniously with nature.

Free education and inclusive artificial intelligence have ensured that everyone has equal opportunities. Since 2030, climate policies have united countries, prioritizing clean energy, circular economy and social welfare.

In 2040, Europe is not perfect, but it is a place where the future finally looks promising.
