We live in a calm society.

Everyone works to improve the environment and protect life. Insects have reappeared, butterflies foiled again in summer along the river. After years of challenging change, the complete reorientation of our global activities is almost complete. Humanity has drunk its desire of any power, and is committed to non-action and simple activities.

International trade in goods and people has decreased, the economy operates in a short loop, and local identities have reappeared – a mixture of old traditions and globalisation. New technology and energy make it possible to ensure a low and happy existence with fewer machines. Oil, coal, gas and advertising were completely banned after COP31, including in China, India and Indonesia!

The former monotheistic religions were abandoned, as well as the ‘manifest destiny’ in the United States after the Great Civil War of 2025-2028. The notions of what is good or bad have been profoundly re-visited, the desire for power and jalousia have greatly diminished.

Peace is never achieved, but humanity and the whole of life seem to be reconciled and on the right path to start a new cycle of prosperity for the next centuries.

La simplicité et le respect en 2040

In 2040, life is peaceful in Europe, everyone smiles, there is no aggression in any country. If there are problems between people, there will be people who will be responsible for resolving problems amicably, and everything will be simple. There will be freedom of expression, respect for everyone's ideas.

Natuur

I wish by then there would be more nature. That it is forbidden to lay front gardens in stones, that people who have a house and garden should provide more greenery. That a forest, a park is within walking or cycling distance. That the car is more banded from the cities, but can still get a place on the outskirts of the city. That there are so free buses or cheap public transport that runs to the city. So that people also seek more connection with nature, go for a walk and only have the benefits of nature.

Une France aux français

Laws have changed and hardened. Not all people born in France are automatically French. They take the nationality of their great-grandparents, and also all the descendants, which reduces the population of foreigners and let the French live in their country quietly and without fear, or to be raped, robbed or assaulted. Life would be more peaceful, the streets would become clean again, the people polite. All acts of incivility are punished, such as coughing without putting your hand, or throwing waste on the floor, buying in bulk or bringing back containers, which would reduce waste.

Eine gerechte Zukunft für den geschundenen Planeten Erde

There are no more nation states. A world government controls the most important subject areas for every human being equally, without prejudicing or discriminating against any area, any continent, any religion. No one in the world has to go hungry or worse: Suffering from thirst. In every country there are countless centers where people have access to the knowledge of humanity, in the form of books, images, sounds, music, films, files and and and. An intelligent system of computers, data centers, public offices, etc. pp. ensures that the knowledge just described is not distorted, distorted or even destroyed. Many diseases that still plague humanity at present (2025) have either been "exterminated" or reduced to a minimum. The rights of ethnic minorities are not suppressed. It is possible to travel virtually, not only to all desired areas on this earth, but also back in time. The energy supply is largely managed by solar energy, fossil materials or nuclear fuels are only used in exceptional cases or for the purpose of historical research
