We live in a calm society.

Everyone works to improve the environment and protect life. Insects have reappeared, butterflies foiled again in summer along the river. After years of challenging change, the complete reorientation of our global activities is almost complete. Humanity has drunk its desire of any power, and is committed to non-action and simple activities.

International trade in goods and people has decreased, the economy operates in a short loop, and local identities have reappeared – a mixture of old traditions and globalisation. New technology and energy make it possible to ensure a low and happy existence with fewer machines. Oil, coal, gas and advertising were completely banned after COP31, including in China, India and Indonesia!

The former monotheistic religions were abandoned, as well as the ‘manifest destiny’ in the United States after the Great Civil War of 2025-2028. The notions of what is good or bad have been profoundly re-visited, the desire for power and jalousia have greatly diminished.

Peace is never achieved, but humanity and the whole of life seem to be reconciled and on the right path to start a new cycle of prosperity for the next centuries.

I want to live in a future where there is no more dictation from above, where I can freely say what I think without fear. It's peaceful on the streets, there are no concrete blocks at our Christmas markets and our countries are once again mainly inhabited by locals. Guests are always welcome, we swap stories and talk about each other's culture. Then we go back to our home countries and tell them about it. We are all friends. Nature is growing and flourishing. An eagle is circling above again. Chemtrails no longer exist and those responsible for this manipulation have been brought to justice. Schools and universities are once again places of learning and wisdom and not corporate hives of interest. There is peace around us and within us.

We have to move with the times, of course, but growing our own fruit and vegetables is an important way of knowing exactly what we're eating, and a way of sharing and exchanging when there's too much production. Tynis houses are interesting and economical, and I think they'll evolve over time.

The economy is also flourishing and global trade and change are functioning smoothly. The wars have ended and the global community has become sensible. People are concerned about important social issues and not about taking over other countries.

Cities will be green and energy efficient, every building will have solar panels and vertical gardens. Public transport will be fully electric and emission-free, and citizens will travel by autonomous vehicles or bicycles. People will be actively involved in decision-making through smart city technologies and e-democracy tools.
