Little remains of that European dream. The second decade of the century awakened the worst imperialist dreams, and they were not able to face them. The nations have been gradually selling themselves to other powerful countries, for a desire for survival that was confirmed as false. History has been cyclical, it has always been cyclical. But in that wheel that turns and turns, there are always those who are below, and also those who are above.
The European dream has been deteriorating. The welfare state does not exist. We become little more than colonies of powerful nations. What in its day was a solution to grow, does not stop being a bad resignation, of a group of neighbors, who lose their principles, in an increasingly degraded plant.
There is no choice but to look for that Gallic village, which always resists the Roman Empire.
