By 2040, the climate in Europe had fundamentally changed, and the Gulf Stream had stopped. Most countries have authoritarian regimes, and the European Union is in its final hours. The economic crisis, the political crisis and the refugee crisis make the lives of the inhabitants of the continent more difficult. Unemployment is rising, the capitalist world order is coming to an end, the earth no longer tolerates environmental damage with impunity. The climate in southern Europe is unbearable in the summer, and due to desertification, there is nothing left of the formerly prosperous agriculture. The great powers are closing in, nationalist aspirations are unfolding, a major global conflict is imminent. By this time, some countries, including Hungary, had left the EU.
