Society has overcome its overwhelming dependence on information consumption and has learned to use AI solutions effectively, controlling environmental impacts and social equity. Advances in medicine and health monitoring have made it possible to avoid the emergence of unplanned epidemics and the spread of infections. All forms of energy are increasingly being generated through safe technological solutions in the fields of nuclear energy and chemical fusion. This significantly reduces the need for industrial-intensive energy production, which has a major impact on the planet's ecological health. Humanity has begun active exploration and exploration of solar system objects.

In 2040, I hope that day to day life will not have changed too much from what it is now. I feel in the previous 15 years technology has leaped forward, sometimes for the better but not always. I hope that we continue to have more personal interactions and meet socially more often. While I feel it is great that we can contact anyone in the world quickly and effectively with mobile phones, messaging apps and video calling, I feel that we are losing that face to face interaction because everyone is glued to their phones and sometimes are missing life passing them by.

I don't have much of an imagination, but I think that progress always brings something good, and it will be possible to travel through Europe by rail, get off in the cities and regions I want to see, and continue again to the next place. The railroad will be modern and fast, and the trip will be a lot of fun. Every person will be able to afford such a trip. Perhaps airplane flights will also be available to everyone and what you will travel with will be a matter of individual choice.Everyone will be able to see beautiful cities, such as Brussels or Paris, you will be able to see the Loire Valley and the area around Lake Garda.It would be a wonderful relaxation after work, which today requires a lot of dedication from people and takes up more and more of their private time. In the pursuit of money we leave small and large pleasures behind and do not think about what we are losing.

In the world of the future, human kindness and cooperation are strengthened. While the heads of government have made many firm and unassailable decisions for the future welfare of the people, not all of which are for the benefit of the people (e.g. tax rises), I have seen a conscious and understanding public rejoicing in the fact that these decisions have made life good, albeit more difficult financially. We are safe!
