We recognized and fought a climate crisis...and we lost. We realized too late that our "lifestyle" will cost many generations their heads. We still fought wars because we thought borders, religions, money or power were worth measuring in blood. We have marginalized people based on faith, skin color, sexuality or simple free spirit. We thought WE defined normal, determined the norm. But we have created generations that want to and will put an end to this. We have conjured up a battle and left the battlefield to our children and grandchildren. Now let them! Don't spoil it for them! We have already failed, now let them clean up the battlefield as THEY want. Support them and don't block them. You have been wrong for years, don't think that YOU now suddenly know the solution to the problem; you were the problem and now let the youth "attack" the problem too. Believe them, your narrow-mindedness must not cost so many people their future again. Much more: help them, help them with what you still have. Don't deny them the wish for change... you had these wishes too. And you know what it feels like to lose dreams and hope.

I hope that nations will have understood that borders are indispensable for the survival of peoples, and must be re-established. I think that European life and people in 2040 will be completely different from what they are today. I will in principle be 86 years old, and I believe that if I go out again I will no longer recognise the places I know as they are today. With the immigration of people from communities and religions different from ours, which is growing at a very high rate, it will be necessary to share work and wealth so that everyone lives decently and intelligently. But can I still say that the future of the generations of my children, grandchildren and others anguish me a lot, and that I am not the only one who thinks so?

Utopia is important because it allows us to hope ... Let's imagine! it's spring and the small flowers, violets, pikelets, blueberries, worries..., decorate our gardens without pesticides, without fertilizer because the soil, well worked for years no longer needs all these artificial aids. And children, teenagers run into this garden. They are at peace, they are good because their parents have instilled in them the essential rules of life in society. And the school has trained them by teaching them, not, ready-made formulas that it is enough to know by heart, no, by giving them the opportunity to train in everyday life with the help of the oldest who share their knowledge. And on their plates, at meals, they eat vegetables grown near their homes by responsible farmers. No more ready-made dishes bought in the super markets, almost all of which have disappeared or, at the very least, have changed the way they sell... Utopia!!

I would love to be able to drive autonomously. This would be especially important for older people from the country, as there are often no shops and doctors there anymore. So you can participate in life even with physical or mental limitations. In addition, the traffic is unraveling, there are fewer traffic jams, the traffic is more fluid and there are fewer accidents.
