In 2040, I envision a future in which the climate crisis is successfully managed and sustainability is at the heart of all social and economic activity. I would like to see a world where renewable energy sources such as solar, wind and hydropower are the dominant sources, and fossil fuels are a thing of the past. Cities would be greener, full of parks, vertical gardens and sustainable buildings that produce more energy than they consume.

Cooperation between countries would be an important aspect of this future - solidarity in the fight against climate change, fair distribution of resources and access to clean water, education and healthcare for all. 2025 was the year when the energy transition began. Before that, energy was produced from fossil fuel, a highly flammable material that produced a great deal of heat that was used to move power generators. Even before fuel, coal was used, which in those days produced just the right amount of energy for the machines of the day. With subsequent industrial revolutions, coal had become insufficient for the energy these new machines needed, so oil took over. It was curious how the industrial revolution of the time always had to use the same method to produce energy and that was to burn a naturally occurring source. Now this obsolete system no longer exists; we are proud to have changed the method of producing energy. No longer destroying and burning, but creating and conserving.

In the social sphere, there will likely be a change in the definition of work, with many traditional professions disappearing, while new ones, related to technology and sustainability, will emerge. I also expect a growing concern for the environment and significant progress in renewable energy, reducing our dependence on nonrenewable resources. It will be a more connected world, but also one that is more aware of global challenges.

There are enough doctors in the Czech Republic.Dentists are paid by the state, so we don't have to pay millions for teeth.And there are enough of them in all regions.Everyone has a doctor and they don't have to be without teeth for a year because they don't have the means. In schools we have to honor the elderly,have respect for the young and the old. The state is judged by its behaviour towards children and old people. And now the old people are unnecessary , and the children do not participate in respect and understanding. And also there will be plenty of cheap housing and electricity.

In the future, mobility across Europe will be easy and ecological, while also taking into account rational pricing. This will allow people to have a wider experience across Europe and a better understanding of different cultures, which will support diversity and understanding of other people and diversity. Europe is joining forces to be greener, making Europe the most ecological continent. This will require a commitment from all countries and the development of science in a more ecological direction. Living conditions have improved everywhere and people are living well. Easy mobility also means that people have better opportunities to move around Europe for work and life.
