In 2040, Europe is prosperous thanks to a dynamic and inspiring business environment. It has done away with pseudo-legislation and pointless and unnecessary bureaucracy, while deregulation has created new industries and technologies - and repatriated much production from the Far East. Technological development is faster in Europe than on any other continent - which in turn has made Europe (the EU) an economic powerhouse. The UK, Norway and Switzerland are closely associated with the EU and participate in the free trade zone and military cooperation.
The European armies work closely together to form one of the strongest and most deterrent military powers in the world. This has secured the external borders and deterred aggressors from the rest of the world. European military cooperation has secured Ukraine's freedom and isolated Russia, among other things. The same Russia that has stopped its hybrid war against the EU through a consistent policy of retaliation.
Europeans are free people living in healthy democracies with great freedom of speech. Religion has again become a private matter - and the veto of the bully is not tolerated. Jews can once again live in Europe's metropolises without police protection and latent threats of violence. Non-integrable migrants from MENAP countries have left or been deported, further increasing prosperity. Europeans are starting to have children again and fertility rates are steadily increasing. We believe in ourselves and we believe in the future again - and it is the freedom of the individual citizen that is at the center of everything.
