52 amended national laws, including a constitutional amendment (!) – that is the result of the Latvian public submissions system with the ManaBalss/MyVoice (https://myvoice.group/en/about-us/) CivicTech platform at its center since 2011! Such a level of public participation in policy-making and legislature can be achieved in all EU countries and also on the EU level. It will enhance public trust in the official institutions, especially on the EU level, strengthen democracy, lessen the populism influence (via quality standards and deliberative process) and diminish mutual cynicism among societies, politicians, officials and other decision-makers. It doesn't lessen representative democracy; it arguably strengthens it.
