We’ll need to address changes coming due to climate change while making sure economy and by extension our societies also adapt in a sustainable way. We need to allow nature to heal and regrow as much as possible for the ecological chains to sustain themselves and humanity. It is going to be a difficult task as lit of these changes comes with a price and uncertainty, but education and long term thinking and decision making from those in power could make this happen. I’m not sure however that this can be done without sacrifices. I tend to think that humanity will only try to change its ways when it has no other choice as a whole, only after a lot of suffering and death. A cleansing flame of sorts. I wish this wasn’t true. But I fear it is.
