Creative production

This image was generated with Dream Studio AI.

Operational by 2040. The evolution of VR, AR and 4D printing technologies and the significant reduction in their costs are paving the way for the creation of new generation ecocrafts. The creative industry at home is flourishing. Millions of projects to create objects – from customised and customised everyday equipment to immersive works of art – are ongoing in the homes of individuals or groups of people. The objects produced are sold through new-generation marketplaces, while the consumer can intervene in their production and configure them even during the creation phase, through a process of dynamic interaction with the product and the manufacturer’s digital assistant: an AI algorithm capable of assessing and managing new requests and learning alone about the specificities of potential buyers. These projects generate new income, while low production costs allow more people to access the production process. At the same time, the fact that production is spread across many different locations allows the supply of products and services within a very short radius from the consumer’s home, which reduces the cost and environmental footprint of transport. At the same time, new forms of art are being created, with works that interact with the viewer and are transformed, and a new code of ethics is being established to protect users of immersive environments from the possibility of universal immersion in virtual worlds.

Summer started in February. Heat waves are as common as rain used to be, although the latter is now only known from legend. People check their air filters in the morning before going outside, and small battles rage for shady spots. The beaches used to be sand, now they're just barren earth with a mutant palm tree or two trying to survive. The birds have moved south - even further south, where there may still be something worth reaching. Drones hovering over the cities warn: don't stay in the sun too long. There are still those trying to adapt. They grow rooftop gardens, paint shade on the roads. People have learned to smile in the heat. But when we close our eyes at night, we all know: the world used to be greener.

Future health
A future I would like to see in 2040 is a healthcare system based on preventive medicine and personalised care through biotechnology and artificial intelligence. What would that future look like? 1. Biosensors and biofeedback in everyday life People will wear micro-devices or implantable sensors that will continuously monitor their health, detecting potential problems in time. These devices will work with AI systems for data analysis and proactive interventions. 2. Personalised treatment Instead of generic protocols, medicine will be tailored to the genetic profile and lifestyle of each individual. Medicines and treatments will be more targeted, reducing side effects and increasing effectiveness. 3. Digital health and access from everywhere Medical visits will be made mainly through advanced telemedicine systems, with doctors and AI working together. Healthcare will be accessible to everyone, regardless of location or economic status. 4. Education and awareness through biofeedback People will be trained to understand and regulate their biological functions through techniques such as neurofeedback. Mental health will be on a par with physical health and there will be sophisticated tools to manage stress and emotions. This future would allow people to live healthier and higher quality lives, reducing illness and increasing their health autonomy.

There is no way to describe the future positively when everything is heading for disaster. There may be progress in 20-30 years in various sectors, but the point is that people will have nothing to eat and nobody is counting on anything ... from day to day we are going from bad to worse.
