2040 people have understand that preventing cancer and living healthy is mainly related to our diet. Life expectancy will increase for those with incurable cancers. Doctors have dietary information in their curriculum more than how to insert a feeding tube. Ketogenic diet is part of cancer treatment together with biological treatments and not mindless radiation and chemotherapy with the same ratio for everyone with the same diagnosis. Hopefully we will stop adding sugar and chemicals to our food or at least limit the amount and real food becomes honoured again. Cows are not blamed for climate change and cattle will be raised on the green grass again, not in the dark barns together with their fecal matter. Sun is not blamed for the inflammation that poor diet and chemicals in our food and environment has done. People have more healthy years to live, it doesn't mean they have to live longer but the quality of live will be better. Obesity decreases alongside with healing the constant inflammation in our bodies if we start to eat real food again, getting the real sun exposure (and D-vitamin). Adding some exercise and most of the modern day diseases are cured. That would be my perfect year 2040.
