In 2040 we could work fewer hours and enjoy more goods by harnessing technology. In particular, we could work from home and use artificial intelligence. With 2-3 hours of effort we would be able to direct the AI tools which would then produce 24 hours a day. This will give us time to enjoy the other aspects of our lives, while society will not stop being productive.
