I hope that by 2040 new forms of energy supply will have taken hold. That nuclear fusion reactors in the Netherlands will ensure that there is power in abundance, bringing the prices of energy down considerably. As a result, the prices of electric cars, appliances and household use will also hopefully go down and technology can make a big step forward. Smart homes are everywhere and there are hardly any CO2 emissions.
