I would like the human species to have progressed in space in 2040 and to be able to explore other planets in the universe. Perhaps by meeting extraterrestrials more advanced than human beings, we could improve in many areas such as the protection of ecosystems on Earth, the fight against inequalities, the end of diseases such as cancers, etc. I believe that the future of the human species lies in space and not on Earth because the damage inflicted especially on the environment seems to me too serious to be able to reverse the situation. Moreover, the non-control of births on our planet only makes the Earth increasingly unequal and uninhabitable for people.

Probably it will be very different - it is very likely that we will use way more electricity (for instance electric cars), but hopefully most of it will be produced by solar/wind energy without huge impact to CO2 emissions. And with less CO2 emissions I hope climate change will be less of an issue to the world.

I wish that humanity was truly considered equal by all and that racism, homophobia would disappear and that there would be greater respect for women and that bullying in all its forms would disappear so that people could live without fear of others and be recognized as different.
