There is no car ownership. Everyone rents a car when needed. In the cities, bicycles dominate both rental and ownership. Many tasks are now performed by robots using artificial intelligence under the supervision of humans. Direct democracy is ensured through mobile phone voting. Politicians are elected for short terms and humans can very easily force them to resign if they find they are not performing their duties properly.
