As I will be celebrating my 91st birthday in 2040, I very much hope that I will be able to live to see it in full physical and mental health so that I can still enjoy the benefits of life to the full. I would then like to be able to read in the newspapers that Russia, China and North Korea have developed into model democratic republics following non-violent overthrows, which have flourished economically and are able to offer their populations prosperity and security.
Our athletes are also able to shake off the unfortunate loser syndrome and the soccer team only fails in the semi-finals of the World Cup. As a happy great-grandfather, I can have a really good laugh at the clumsy, funny pranks of the great-grandchildren, which doesn't always please their parents. But they are still children with an unbridled thirst for action and nothing is really safe from them.
After celebrating our 66th wedding anniversary in May, I took a short trip to Mariazell with my wife to finally see the place for myself. I've been planning this trip for at least 20 years. Otherwise, when the weather is good, we take short walks along the Danube to watch the boat traffic between Vienna and Bratislava from a bench on its banks.
In the evening we watch TV, ZIB and, if possible, a movie before retiring for the night.

If I live to see 2040, I hope that first of all there will be peace on earth, it's probably utopian to believe that such a thing will happen, as 2040 is not that long away. Peace on earth is a very big thought for our children, grandchildren and other living beings and descendants, however, it would solve many problems, but maybe it will also create new problems, some people live almost by peace on earth, even if it is strange to think this way. I think we will have endured a large war. At this stage Donald Trump will be thankfully dead or his body frozen to try and make a other come back. We will have a war unlike the last ones with countries unites that we hadn't seen. With America and Russia and possibly Korea as the " bad guys" . It could potentially be nuclear involved so the population will be decreased substantially. Northern Europeand northern lines will be the new tropical and temperature changes will be changed across the globe. People will eventually move accordingly. . Some areas will be too hot to keep living in so we may see population s decreasing in areas Like arizona. We will have new deserts.

I live in a better world. There is no bitterness between people. Everyone has a job. He can afford to support his family and minor expenses. A person is healthy and doesn't have to worry about medical appointments and visits. Any ailment is consulted with a doctor on a regular basis, who provides the necessary help. There is no envy between nations.All problems are solved peacefully. ....tak simply. So that we can finally live a normal life.

I don't know if I will live that long. I would like to have peace and a Latvian Latvia, not cluttered with wind towers. Organic farming and card roses growing outside our homes. Children would respect their parents and artificial intelligence would not have taken over the world. To respect books and other people's work.
