The European Union of the future is made up of countries that are strongly economically interconnected, but where each country in this Union is allowed to pursue policies that are important to its own citizens. The European Union has understood that the process of federalisation of the European Union is a highway towards the death of the European Union and has recognised its future intentions of federalisation as a political mistake. The countries of the European Union have been given back their rights of political self-determination. The European Union has stopped discriminating against its member countries for not respecting the so-called 'common values of the European Union'. The countries of the European Union can decide on their own tax system, as well as on the attitude of each country to abortion, homosexuality, family relations, etc.
The European Union has also realised that the basis for its existence is the possession of sufficient military deterrence capacity. For this purpose, a military industry and an army have been built, which exceeds both Russia and the United States in its deterrence capacity. For more than a decade, each Member State of the European Union has contributed more than 5% of its gross domestic product annually to the construction of its national military deterrence. The European Union is a strategic alliance of connected economies with strong military deterrence capabilities, the leadership of which leaves it to each Member State to pursue a different domestic policy that suits that Member State. The European Union respects the politicians who will lead each Member State democratically through elections and does not dictate what should be the 'right' political preference for a Member State.
