I am already retired and luckily for ages there is no reason to complain about health so far. How long this health condition could last is impossible to predict. But seeing how many people of my age (including younger and older people) are struggling with access to necessary medical care, as well as with physiotherapy procedures that would help delay the emergence of more serious health problems and increase feelings of well-being. It is therefore necessary to improve access to medical care. Given what is happening in society, it seems utopian.
It would also be necessary for the elderly to be able to move more easily to care homes that provide decent care.
Surely assisted suicide should be legalized, for which hundreds (if not more) of hopelessly ill people would be grateful. Ultimately, the whole society would benefit.
