The hope for a well-functioning EU In 2040, the woke communist left-wing parliament will be insignificant and powerless. In return, they will be the bourgeois parties in power. There will be a full asylum freeze for all non-Western countries and all illegal immigrants will be deported back. There will be full control over Europe's borders. All fanatical measures for the "climate crisis" will also be stopped. Fission and Fusion reactors are operational and all European countries have installed one or more. Wind turbines and solar farms are no longer relevant. There will still be drilling for oil in the North Sea and Greenland has also become an industrial island, under the Danish Realm of course.
Fossil fuels have won out, so gasoline and diesel cars are still the most optimal. Prices have of course become low and so have taxes.
