Equità sostenibile, avanti i giusti

In the Europe of the future, I would like wealth to be divided more fairly.
Those who have the most must help those who have the least.
The tax burdens are distributed with benefits for families on the basis of the real condition ... greater controls and certain and adequate punishments for evaders whether they are companies, individuals, freelancers or other.
At the same time, I would like preparation and merit to be rewarded without favouritism and recommendations, otherwise there would be no incentive for innovation, for improvement in all sectors.
Banks, insurance companies, energy and communications operators and other vital, necessary and mandatory sectors must not be able to exploit the dominant position and sector agreements by squeezing citizens.
The institutions ensure control and justice.
Transport infrastructure is safe and efficient, reducing pollution, time, accidents and costs.

Lavoro leggero e tempo per sè
In 2040 many jobs will be replaced or helped by technology, this means less time will be needed to do them. I would like to see us be able to divide the work among the same number of people, so that no one is left jobless, but give a lighter work schedule (half of today's) to everyone.

Unistus helgest tulevikust
Every human being is valuable regardless of his or her nationality, age, level of education, etc. The state has high social guarantees. The unemployment rate is very low. The tax system is benevolent to the population. Income tax 15%, VAT max 18%. Maximum 4 working days per week. Free medical care, free higher education. Public transport is free. Utilities are cheap. Borders are open, people can travel where they want. There is no threat of war, there are no wars in the world.

I don't know because I'm 68. In 15 years, I may not be around to know whether 2040 will be the future. Let's remain optimistic, but in 2040, at 83, my life is behind me. I'm thinking of my son, his family and, above all, my grandchildren. Will France still be a democracy? Has the Great Replacement begun? Has war devastated Europe? No, none of this: people have mellowed, our leaders have found solutions for a peaceful world, the ecological revolution is beginning to bear fruit, and the world is calmer and more serene. My grandchildren are flourishing in their work and in their lives. Their future looks bright.

Ma vie
In 2040 I'll be 67.... I hope to live out my days in peace and quiet, having found peace and learned from my mistakes. I imagine myself surrounded by my daughter and the family she will have built. I'd like to see a world without hatred, empathetic, where human beings take their place and accept that difference is a source of richness.
