In this year 2040, Europe has made great progress on many points, but I will focus on three of them.
1.- Mobility and transport: Thanks to adequate investment and public awareness, all public and private passenger and freight transport has been made clean and renewable, having achieved a transport network in which all fuels used generate neither polluting emissions nor waste, and at the same time a transport network has been created that connects the entire European Community and its non-Community neighbours in a rational and efficient way.
2.- Equity and social justice: Thanks to the great agreements at European level, with all social actors, state, workers and companies, society has been based on equality, so that the distribution of money is much more equitable and fair than in the first twenty years of this century. There is no risk of extreme poverty, no unemployment, no hunger, no unmet housing needs.
3.- Food and agriculture: In this way, the consumption of local agricultural and livestock products has been promoted, eliminating large plantations and macro farms. Currently, small producers are the ones in charge in the market.
