The celebrations for and on 1 May 2040 in the former EU countries are characterised by cheerfulness, exuberance, expressions of freedom and independence. The abolition of excessive bureaucracy, caused by a self-serving, bloated bureaucracy, promises a future of reshaping Europe. Nation-statehood is no longer branded and defamed, people have realized that gangling, predetermined ideologies and restriction of opinion were counterproductive to the prosperous development of their countries. National consciousness is no longer branded as right-wing populism. The borders within Europe are controlled under the responsibility of the countries themselves, as well as immigration from non-European countries, without obligation and coercion by the majority of former bodies in Brussels. A European defence alliance, launched by the countries as a counterpart to NATO, guarantees and demonstrates military strength against potential aggressors. A constitution, created and signed by all members, with regard to mutual relations between economic and social components, is the basis of a strong, independent and self-confident Europe, which is not influenced by any non-European power.
