Europe is seen as the more prosperous of the the region blocks , the people are happy, safe and have money to spend. all the other nations are attempting to copy europes example of sharing and cooperation.

In 2040, I would like to see a future where sustainable technology dominates everyday life. Energy is 100% renewable, with smart grids optimizing consumption. Bleakness
I dont want this future, but it looks like the course is similar, cars are mostly electric, the national electricity grids cant take it, leading to blackouts. The infrastructure demand cant keep up. Influx of immigrants illegal of otherwise starts to put a now much heavier strain on Europe, civil unrest, because of the cultural differences and not willing to assimilate to local varied cultures. United states of America are a wasteland with Trump/Elon ar god emperor at the helm of a wreck of a once respected country. Nothing good happens anymore.
