In fifteen years I will walk down the inner city streets without moving to the other side of the foot path to avoid both eye contact and proximity to those people struggling with homelessness. There will be no need for me to avoid them out of humiliation - a result of my own selfish guilt and inability to help them financially. In 2040 there will be better supports for those without stable housing. Not just physical but emotional and social as well.
