A realisation that education is the bedrock for a stable and successful economy with major investments in teaching methods, learning from what works elsewhere rather than constantly trying to reinvent the wheel.

The future would be colourful and varied, with respect, empathy and communication being the main themes in society. The environment would not be filled with competition, beauty and perfection, but with the individuality of the individual. There would be a shift from materialism to minimalism, people would be accepted as they are. Society would want to address the ecological crisis head-on.
