In 2040, I would like to see a world where technology and nature work together harmoniously to combat climate change. Cities would be green, with vertical gardens and rooftop terraces that absorb CO2 and produce food. Cars would be electric and autonomous, while public transport would be efficient and affordable. Social justice and access to clean water and healthy food would be guaranteed worldwide.

Renewable energy has replaced most fossil fuels. Technologies such as vertical farms and hydroponics have ensured food security. AI would help manage resources efficiently and minimize waste.

Sustainability would not only be a trend, but a global awareness. Education and education about environmental protection would be integrated into everyday life, so that everyone actively contributes to the protection of the earth. Probably it will be very different - it is very likely that we will use way more electricity (for instance electric cars), but hopefully most of it will be produced by solar/wind energy without huge impact to CO2 emissions. And with less CO2 emissions I hope climate change will be less of an issue to the world.
