Ņemot vērā, ka drīz būšu pensijā, ceru, ka varēšu mierīgi baudīt vecumdienas. Ka Latvijā būs pietiekoši daudz iedzīvotāju, lai man sanāk mana gadiem pelnītā pensija. Ceru, ka varēšu atļauties iegādāties un izmantot elektrisko auto, to lādējot no saules batertijām turpat savā mājā. Ideālā variantā man viena mašīna un bērniem arī katram pa elektriskai mašīnai. Noteikti turpināšu šķirot atkritumus. Pieņemu, ka būs iespēja atdalīt dedzināmo vieglo iepakojumu no pārstrādājamā iepakojuma. Arī depozīta sistēma cerams būs plašāka, pievienojot vēl citas pozīcijas šobrīd esošajām. Un labi būtu, ja katru reizi ierodoties nodot iepakojumu, to būtu iespējams nodot. Pārvietoties pilsētā droši vien turpināšu arī ar sabiedrisko transportu, kurš cerams būs izteikti elektrisks. Ceru, ka pārtikas produkti pārsvarā netiks transportēti tālu. Lietas, kas pieejamas uz vietas labāk netransportēt tālu. Kas nav pieejams uz vietas, to var transportēt, bet viss uz vietas pieejamais netiks tālu transportēts. Arī vēja un saules enerģija gan jau būs plašāk pieejama.

In 2040, I would like to see housing become a human right and to see every human being housed safely and securely. This housing would be guaranteed despite income or employment status. Houses would become affordable through 3-D printing materials and through government social housing schemes, housing lotteries and affordable mortgage schemes. Houses could be owned or rented but everyone is housed. Derelict houses will be renovated and vacant/hoarded properties will not be permitted by landlord. Air BnB will not be allowed post full apartments or houses (only rooms in-house like normal BnBs). This economic and social security would boost local and cultural economies. The cities will belong to the people who live, work, and care there not to multinational corporations or to tourists (though tourists are of course welcome).
